Two weeks in, the defending champ remains perfect, Yahweh's prayers keep getting answered, and two of last year's championship participants suddenly find themselves at opposite ends of the standings.

The West runs through Guru

Motion Man is 2-0 after absolutely dismantling last year's runner-up ND3, 151.06-78.3.

Guru celebrated his birthday yesterday with two rings, an undefeated record and control of the West.

Not a bad week for the Commish.

Yahweh remains undefeated

Another week. Another answered prayer.

Yahweh's Champ beat Ralphs 145.08-113.5 and moves to 2-0 behind another 29.2 from Jonathan Taylor.

At 316.38 points through two weeks, the Gazette is running out of secular explanations.

Trust LeProcess finds its LeBron

After a shaky debut, Trust LeProcess exploded for 165.12, the highest score of Week 2, to beat a very good Long Dak performance.

Josh Allen and CeeDee Lamb combined for 76.12 points.

Maybe the draft wasn't mediocre. Maybe we just needed to trust LeProcess.

Crashout Billy: 2-0

Billy followed his Week 1 win with another, beating Team Rocket 110.62-93.02 behind a ridiculous 42.5 from JSN.

The newly discovered Seahawks fandom remains under investigation.

Unfortunately, the fantasy returns are very real.

Booz woke up

Ike went from 121.14 in Week 1 to 158.98 in Week 2, crushing the newly rebranded Dad Strength by nearly 77.

Dad strength may be real.

Fantasy Dad Strength is currently 0-2.

Papito still has a pulse

After an opening loss, 3RINGZ responded with 141.38, led by 35.2 from Amon-Ra and 29.78 from Goff.

Reports of the dynasty's death may have been slightly premature.

Injury Reserves 2.0?

Team Rocket is 1-1, but league insiders are increasingly concerned Dontonio may be inheriting last season's Cam Scarlett experience as injuries begin piling up.

The Gazette will refrain from officially rebranding the organization Injury Reserves 2.0.

For now.

ND3 & TunchieFit: somebody has to win

Last year's championship runner-up is 0-2 after scoring a league-low 78.3.

TunchieFit is also 0-2 after another loss.

Naturally, they play each other in Week 3.

Which raises the question dominating league offices:

Who gets a win first, the Atlanta Falcons or Aziz Shittu?

East vs. West

The divisions are beginning to separate.

The West owns the league's two highest-scoring teams through two weeks in Yahweh and Motion Man, while the East counters with its own undefeated menace in Crashout Billy.

It's early. But after the West produced both championship finalists last year, the East may once again have something to prove.

Week 3: what we're watching

Motion Man vs. Ralphs: The defending champ meets the team whose perfect season he ended last December. No shortage of receipts here.

Yahweh vs. Papito: Faith meets three rings. Charles puts 2-0 on the line against an organization that finally looked alive in Week 2.

TLP vs. Crashout Billy: The East's highest-scoring Week 2 team gets its undefeated division leader. LeProcess vs. the Bandwagon.

ND3 vs. TunchieFit: Two teams. Zero wins. Someone leaves 0-3.

Dad Strength vs. Long Dak: Barry searches for evidence that fatherhood improves fantasy performance. Cam would simply like Jeanty to keep making the rest of the league look stupid.

Booz vs. Team Rocket: Ike is coming off 158.98. Dontonio is trying to keep enough players healthy to respond.

Two weeks down. The contenders are emerging. The panic buttons are becoming visible. And Shittu is staring directly at his.
