Film Room: what two rings actually looked like
We went back through Motion Man's 2021 and 2025 title runs. The pattern is not talent. It is willingness to bench a name.
The tidy story about Motion Man is that he got hot. The Gazette went looking for the hot streak and found something less flattering to the rest of the league: a manager who consistently started the correct lineup in weeks the field did not.
In both title runs, Harris made at least one start/sit decision that cut against his own draft investment. Owners in this league are famously loyal to their first three picks. He is not. That is the whole edge.
The second pattern is roster churn at the margins. Motion Man finished both championship seasons with multiple starters who were not on the opening-week roster. Depth in a dynasty format is not drafted; it is claimed on a Tuesday when nobody is paying attention.
The bad news for the eleven challengers: neither of those advantages requires draft capital. They require attention. Harris has more of it than most.
